License Agreement
Only current UW students, faculty, and staff are authorized to use the software in the UWICK. Unauthorized use or distribution of this software is a violation of the license agreements and UW policy. Copies of the license agreements are included in the kit, and UW policy information (Knowing the Rules) is available on the Web. If you violate the license agreements or UW policy, you will be held legally accountable.
To Get Your Copy of the Connectivity Kit (UWICK)
You can buy the kit at the main University Book Store Computer Center or its branches at the HUB, Health Sciences, UW Bothell campus, and UW Tacoma campus. When you purchase the kit, you need your current University student or staff ID and $1.00. The UWICK comes on a single CD that includes software for both Macintosh and Windows systems.
C&C (Computing & Communications), the department producing the kit, strongly recommends that you purchase the latest UWICK version because of its clear instructions, current phone numbers for dial-in modems, and ease of use. However, if you have appropriate file transfer software and are experienced in file transfer techniques, you can find most parts of the kit online and download them.
