The UW Technology Blackberry service provides assistance with device acquisition, configuration, user training and provides ongoing support of the device's telephone, email and calendaring functions.
All costs are current best estimates and may go up or down; here is a list of service providers and plans. Cellular, T-Mobile and Verizon all have links displaying both equipment and rate plan information.
If you choose not to use the UW Technology service, and want to configure your blackberry yourself, you may find these instructions helpful. Each carrier provides internet service, which allows the client to have email forwarded to the Blackberry device. There's no reconciliation between the Blackberry Inbox and the UW Inbox; there is usually a limit on Inbox size, and calendar syncing with UW Technology's Oracle Calendar service is not available.
