There's more than one way to get here.
The University of Washington encourages you to join our efforts to improve traffic conditions and to protect the environment. Please consider using an alternative to driving alone to get to any campus event. Now you can share the ride by instantly finding others who want to attend a sporting or other special event in Puget Sound. You can take advantage of one of the nearly 50 Metro bus routes from all over King and Snohomish counties serving the University District; over 35 buses come directly onto campus. Trip Planner can help you find the best route.
Where can I park?
The closest parking is in the Central Plaza Garage, located underground between Meany and Kane Halls. During some special events a $11.00 parking fee in the Central Plaza Garage after 6 PM. There may be other times when the special event fee is also charged. (Wayfinding map of the Central Plaza Garage.)However, there is additional parking in one of several west campus lots [W2, W4, W6, W12, and W14] where a "pay and display" machine is available. These areas are for parking after 4 p.m. weekdays and on Saturday mornings. All the lot machines accept $1 bills and coins, but do not give change. The night parking fee in those lots is $3 (sales and city parking taxes included).
