:: CARTAH PROJECT APPLICATIONCARTAH Project Application Information
Project Proposal GuidelinesCARTAH facilities are made available on a project basis. Researchers and artists need to submit a Project Application describing their proposed work. The following brief guidelines are intended to assist in submitting successful applications. What types of projects are appropriate?Any project that makes use of technology and has an Arts or Humanities focus is appropriate to our facilities. CARTAH is not a drop-in lab, short-term projects, however, are also welcome. Who may make a project proposal?Anyone associated with the University of Washington may make a proposal. Preference is given to students and faculty in Arts and Humanities departments when the number of requests exceeds the number of projects we can support at the same time. A note about video projects.Because of the high demand for CARTAH's video editing equipment, researchers wishing to use this equipment should make early arrangements. The video editing equipment is reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance. Acknowledgements.
Please include the following notice in your project's acknowledgements: If you have further questions about completing the Project Application, feel free to email cartah@u.washington.edu. Continue to the on-line Project Application form. |
