Videoconferencing
Videoconferencing allows people in separate locations to conduct two-way, interactive video calls. Video and audio signals are compressed and transmitted between two sites via a digital network. Using the H.320 standard, we can connect via the digital ISDN telephone network to many compatible systems around the world. With the H.323 standard, we can connect via the Internet and Internet2 to a growing number of compatible sites.
The UW Technology Service Center can help you with the planning and implementation process, to bring this technology to your group.
