The System
ANNUAL RENEWAL
New Policy Year Begins November 1
- During the month of November, you may edit all fields online prior to the November 30 billing.
- Equipment Insurance Authorizations and Budgets are handled via ASTRA .
- Contact your department ASTRA authorizer to add or delete Equipment Insurance budgets & authorizations .
- If you do not know who your ASTRA authorizer is, go to the ASTRA webpage & click on the link ‘Who can authorize me?”
- Equipment with invalid budget numbers on November 30 will not be considered insured.
POLICY CHANGES EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2008
- No rate or deductible changes for the 2008-2009 policy year
- Effective 11.1.08, there is a minimum $5 premium.
Reminders:
- Laptops insured under Domestic coverage are insured for travel worldwide.
- Equipment located in Hawaii & Puerto Rico is covered under Domestic Policy
- Contact Risk Management for Domestic Transit over $250K or Foreign Transit over $300K
- Marine & Transit to countries under US trade sanctions excluded
