The University of Washington is partnering with the local, non-profit organization, Child Care Resources (CCR), to provide free childcare referral services for UW faculty, staff and students.
Since 1990, Child Care Resources (CCR) has helped local families access childcare by maintaining listings of licensed providers and centers (currently numbering more than 2,000 in King, Pierce, Thurston, and Snohomish counties). CCR also works with government, business, and other non-profits to educate about and advocate for the importance and impact of early learning, because the ripple effect of quality child care significantly contributes to a stable community.

CCR also offers personalized, in-depth information and referrals for all parents including those who need non traditional hours of care, have children with special needs, or lead families struggling to manage the cost of care.
Call Child Care Resources at 206-329-1011 ext. 0 or 800-782-4589, ext. 0 and identify yourself as a UW community member. You will be connected with a knowledgeable childcare resource specialist. CCR staff members are available weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For UW faculty and staff, the Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) helps you save money by allowing you to take a pre tax deduction from your pay for your eligible dependent care expenses. You can use DCAP instead of taking the Child and Dependent Care Credit when you file your tax return.
