UWRP Online Enrollment

Online enrollment in the University of Washington Retirement Plan (UWRP) is easy! Simply complete Steps 1 & 2 below. Both steps are required to process your request.

You should review the UWRP general information page to become familiar with the plan prior to beginning your online enrollment.

Step 1: Open an account with one or more of the UWRP fund sponsors by completing an online account application for Fidelity and TIAA-CREF and/or a paper application form for Vanguard. Follow the instructions on the fund sponsor's website or PDF form. Be sure to note any required ID numbers or access codes before beginning the online process.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED to KNOW:

Step 2: Complete the UWRP Enrollment/Change form (pdf).

Note to UWRP participants age 50 and older: You can contribute up to 10% of their eligible gross salary instead of 7.5%. To increase your contributions to 10%, complete the UWRP Increased Contribution form (Word) in addition to the UWRP Enrollment/Change form.

Mail completed and signed document(s) to the Benefits Office, Campus Mail Box: 355660 or (US Mail address) 3903 Brooklyn Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105-6694.

Contributions will start/change effective the first day of the following month provided that the Benefits Office receives both your UWRP Enrollment/Change form and fund sponsor notification showing that your account is established.
