Burke Museum Discounts

Seattle's only Egyptian mummy, nicknamed "Nellie," will make a rare public appearance at the Burke Museum during the "Mysteries of Ancient Egypt" family event on Sunday, October 26, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Consider purchasing a Family Membership—a discounted rate for UW faculty and staff—and take your whole family!

• Becoming a Resilient Caregiver—When a Family Member Has Dementia

Caring for a person with dementia is a difficult and often overwhelming task. Caregivers need strategies that adapt as their loved one’s behaviors change. Dr. Susan McCurry presents easy to remember tools for those who are living with an adult whose memory and self-care capacity are declining.

SAT Preparation for Your Child

WorkLife partners with the University Women’s Center to provide free study guides to children of UW faculty and staff who enroll in the Women’s Center’s SAT tutorial classes. To receive a free study guide (a $19.95 value), the child must register for a tutorial class at the Women’s Center and specify that their parent is a University faculty or staff member.

Classes will be offered Thursday evenings in November:
